Have y'all ever had luck shooting them on the river banks? Most of my luck has been on little back water up close to timber or little ponds if you can find them. With the dry conditions its got my curiosity churning.
i dont know who you are or where you're going, but its a race to get there!

Shot 'em on the river several times, as well as sloughs, ditches, farm ponds, reservoirs, six foot diameter wet spots in fields. You're liable to find them anywhere.
uhmmmm...ya sure that's a duck...i dunt see no green head

I heard that. Best shoot for the blue wings was in a lil low spot in a field. Shot em there 3 days straight and then didn't fire another shot in that spot. But farmers have since leveled that field so no mas. Just never tried the rivers.

I'm going. We have a teal hunt every year, but we wait until the end of the season. Picked up several hundred ducks last week. Starting to see some pintail also.

Seen a large number of teal while I was goose hunting on the Arkansas river this weekend. Probably 20-30 flocks ranging from about 20-80.

Started water in our corn field today. We're sitting on a little over 1000 right now, but I hope that improves greatly.
