Being able to lean back - exactly what I wanted to hear. Leaning back will make it easier to hide in the shadows, when ducks start circling. Two 2 x 10's? Don't think I've sat in a blind with that wide of seating, makes sense, I'm going to do it. My partner wanted me to tilt the seat (board), I just didn't like that. Thanks - off to the Lumber Yard I go
Oh yes I've enjoyed building, but worked hard on this blind. I busted a real Beaver Dam yesterday, hoping water is rising around the blind now. Still need rain though. I took detailed pictures along the way. Here's a picture of the family painting the chicken wire and the first layer of wood. And some real Beaver Hut pics, photo's I tried to duplicate. I'm told that ducks associate Beaver Huts with a safe place. Next summer I'm going to put mud in between all the Beaver Sticks.
