Ducks Everywhere!!

Postby jtwodrff » Mon Dec 31, 2012 10:37 am

...at night. Just after shooting time ends, hundreds of ducks dive into our rice field to eat. They stay there all night, and then leave just before shooting time in the morning. During the days, a few birds come over but act very shy to our field. Is there any way to get these birds to use our field during the day instead of at night? Its amazing to see that many birds wanting in to one spot, but very frustrating knowing that they wont be there the next morning for a good hunt.

Thanks

Sneak out and shoot them tonight after they all get bunched up. They will for sure leave, you will kill more than you can imagine, and they just might come back around daylight to see if its safe again..

Yes. Yes it is. That's just what I would do if it were me and that were legal.

I was very tempted while watching them pour in last night. Maybe someone in the DIY forum should show how to make a shotgun silencer.

It is an awesome sight watching all those birds fall into our field!

A black hoodie would be perfect for night shooting ducks.
