Do you open your pictures in the Paint Program or maybe Office Manager?
On paint - just clik Resize - clik the pixel button - put 1400, or maybe 1200, in the Horizontal - save.
On office - go to Resize and pick Web Large (I think it is), does it for you.

Pipes finally thawed - along with the fields. I think I'm about ready to hunt ducks again.

Thank you AR Dave. Had to reduce to 810, Horizontal, computer auto to 456 vertical, but it works. :hi:
Ducks around here are getting a little shot up (skittish). Not much ice left here, 70 today. Strong south wind.

Cannon, glad the water is running again. South wind may bring those dumb ducks back, you were talking about the other day.

Look at those Mallards - I watched a couple thousand feeding on a rain flooded soybean field yesterday, just over the fence. But at least they're in the area. I've got to get serious this week and pick up a couple of deer as well.

Had an interesting hunt on Saturday. Dug some small pits in a sand bar on the AR river and surrounded our holes with full body geese, shells, and a few dozen duck floaters right on the water's edge. Had a tough time shooting bc the birds were landing on our toes! Definitely going to give that strategy another try, I love getting birds up close and personal. Should've had a limit but our shooting was sub par and our time was limited. Lots of birds moving, majority of the big groups were hitting the fields hard. Most ducks I've seen this season, hope they stick around. Shot 10 birds and had 5 species. A juvie red head was the trophy of the morning, first one for me.

went on our annual hunt to beaver dam hunt club (Tunica MS). Mike and Lamar do a great job. every time I go I can understand why this place was Nash Buckingham"s favorite place to duck hunt.

I don't know about you guys but the number of teal in my area right now is very surprising. Usually we don't see more than a small group every other hunt and these past two weeks they've been everywhere. I enjoy shooting them and they sure are tasty so no complaints here

Hunted solo Sunday afternoon. Best and worst feeling in the world. ONLY had mallards work. Landed about 20-25 in the decoys after these 4 were on the water. Awesome to watch. Heartbreaking to watch too!!

Good pictures AR Dave
Some body told me it's the quality not the quantity. :clapping:

The American Wigdeon drake beautiful, I take pictures of them every time I kill one. Only kill one or two a year.

Mallards here have despersed,so back to scouting.

CrazyDrake - (after 20+ mallards fly off) my dog would look at me so puzzled, why didn't you shoot?

It was the law that held me to 4 mallards today.

I might've messed up on the Wigeon. Daughter came home, from hunting with the boys, and chewed me out for not freezing it for the taxidermist. First ones I ever remember shooting. I just didn't know if it was special or not.

That's definitely the look I was getting. She finally said I have had enough of this, after 3 or 4 groups sat down she did something she has never done before, broke when they hit the water. I woulda been upset but they hit the water CLOSE to the blind, almost within spitting distance.

Hope they are still there this weekend. Wish there was a way I could make today Friday.

Dog's always add to the picture. If they don't have some kind of look - take another picture.

I would post pics of dead animals, but apparently the skanky folks at photobucket decided that too many people we're lookin' at em.

I didn't hunt today, but we've done well since I started hunting again on Sunday. I'll post pics when the Nazi's let my account out of jail.

That's one of the nicest widgeon I have seen. I have killed a good many of them and none have had the cotton on top like that one. I'm waiting on a good one for the wall. Nice job.

Ahhh man - I thought that cotton looked neat - from now on, when in doubt bag it and freeze it... :fingerhead:
