Only 21.6666 limits? Haha what kept you from shooting the last two birds to round out your bag?

Hope you enjoyed em, cause things appear to be going downhill fast. 30,000 birds on the roost . . . only 6 in my hand thus far today, and it looks like tomorrow's gonna be a frosty one.

Thanks Possum....never heard that one. (Saw-bill)

Bird24 & Byers...way to go.

Glad to know that there is some birds in the state after all. They show weren't at our place. Slowest opening weekend in several yrs.
So bad, I didn't even take any pics. Thats how bad it was for us. And then it was cold on top of that.

We're still finding a few here & there. Sunday was slow. Monday I skipped, and yesterday morning was terrible, so I was forced to actually scout around the farm today. On the upside, today's limits came in less than 25 minutes, and I killed my first blonde. She's definitely going to the taxidermist.

I'll post picks when I get home.

Went from Little Rock Airport, to the swamp. LOL Water is just in the creek that runs through the swamp - need some rain. Found birds on different open holes along creek though. A bunch held up in timber, that's only been hunted opening day. It'll be hunted in about 2 hrs. :) Sounds like it's dying off around here (Petit Jean area) for now as well. I'm going to Mack's and buy me some stuff, Stuttgart Festival begins tomorrow.

Makes you wonder where she came from. Got to be a northern bird. The one foot looks clean, no muddy tint to it. Looks to be full grown. Nice. For sure a wall hanger! Mounted between a "Black" and a GH.

All the birds we killed yesterday were red-legged. I sure do love it when those birds make town . . . They make a fella look like he knows what he's doing.

The ducks didn't cooperate this morning. Found this dead guy floating in the timber. Looks to have been gut shot.

Ohh!!!!! I thought you meant you find that guy wondering around and turned the situation into the Thanksgiving Day Massacre. When you said "found" you actually meant "as is".
