Sutter NWR

Postby po' refugee » Thu Oct 27, 2005 9:52 pm

I was wondering if anyone's shot Sutter yet. We've got #8 for Nov. 2, and I heard that the place isn't fully flooded yet. I think there is water to the south and middle, but I guess alot of the North Side is still dry. We usually shoot the middle, but I'm worried about the added pressure if no one can hunt the north. Any reports would be helpful. Thanks

Gabe

BTW It'll be my opener. Can't wait to see some green workin'.

Gabe,
I shot there last Sat. Ya the water very low north half is dry
and they had a reduced quoata. we shot in T15 mid refuge
but not knowing the place we setup on the east side, should have been
in the center.
they have water maps at the check station.
Good luck
