FINALLY, PICS OF BIRDS!

Postby #1wingnut » Sat Nov 19, 2005 6:09 pm

My son's 1st Pheasants. We went out to Twitchell Island this am
and ha had a great time. well while it lasted anyway, all 30 min of the hunt

They only give you a 2 bird limits out there and we did'nt make it thru the first field before he had his 2nd bird. and no misses

Man, that Dog is fast becoming a pheasant demon. I wanted to keep hunting him for some of the other JR's but Daniel as too excided to get home and show his big brothers.

Hey Ryan
I get into turkeys also but I typicaly only chase'm in the spring.
there's something about a spring Gobbler in full strut, that you just cant
top; unless its 6 green heads cupped over the blocks

Nice job on the pheasants Dan! Not to shaby for your son's first pheasants!!! :salude: (Rootbeer!) So this was just a junior hunt only? Those corn fields look awsome!

How old is your dog? Its always nice to see good dog work.

Thats a nice turkey you got there. Everyone is telling me that there is nothing like having them around you. Someday. For now I'll stick to 6 greenheads over the dekes!

What no sunrise pic?

That`s great your son is loving the hunting thing I took the stepson and little bro out on a junior hunt a few years ago it was great.
My niece joined us this year on her first pheasant hunt she loved it
