Los Banos Area

Still slow down in LB, more geese flying around than ducks! I shot 3 birds on Sat. and I took this picture on Sunday. My friends brother only shot 3 birds on his club also. On Sunday my neighbor shot 3 Spoonies with one shot. I asked him if that was considered good luck, or bad luck?

I would be on my club.

I call it Duck Bills after my Dad whose name was Bill.

It is over towards Dos Palos, away from the grade. Right now there are 4 blinds, It is on 50 acres, there are two other 50 acre clubs next door, one on each side.

I agree, the birds haven't arrived yet. I'm shooting Merced next Wed. and I hope that we get some in by then.

Wig...

Last few years (except last year) it's been a January hunt in the grasslands. More closed areas up north with more food taking longer to get fed out....

Bring back the 80's!!!

Ya that happens alot, but there are usually a few weekends before January that a Flight of birds will move through and you get some good shooting. El Nino was a good year!
