Canada 2013

Postby GETTER DONE » Sat Oct 05, 2013 9:44 pm

Just got back from Saskatchewan after 4 days of hunting. Let me say it was the best water fowling experience in the world. The lodge was awesome set up next to a beautiful lake. The food droves us in early everyday from the field absolutely more than we could eat. The hunts were awesome honkers and ducks in the ,morning and snows and ducks for the evening hunts. Some the biggest flocks of waterfowl decoyed perfect at times they were to close. We ended the trip with 112 mallards 60 honkers and 116 snows One banded snow and one black duck as a bonus . We should have way more but our shooting was a little rusty. I have all ready paid my deposit for next year and need a group of guys to go with me.

Have hunted up there, but felt the posession limit was a limiting factor to fully enjoying the hunt. Are the new triple daily posession regs making the take more enjoyable? Or do they even apply?

After nearly 50 days in Canada returning home to 70 plus degrees seems very painful... The ducks and the geese are just beginning to stage up North so you won't see them for a long time....

The last week was very cold with temps in the low 20's and highs near 34 every day.

Here are a few pics of some of the hunts and booking for 2014 has already startImageed as many of the guys who went this year are returning once again next year as they shot lots of ducks and geese and never saw another hunter the entire time there...

Many more to post but will take a few days to do so...

If you are interested in going next year contact getter done or myself...Plenty of referrals if you need them

Now back to the refuge and the thought of dealing with crowds yuck....
