Got lucky on Sunday. Pulled a Volta and a grizz. Both places you can walk on... :fingerhead:

Nor did some buddies. Good luck on Grizzly Island....I basically grew up there....my backyard....the refuge is not desirable at all! You may get a Shoveler or 2 or a nice sunburn.

I'll be going to Volta. It's where I grew up hunting and will defiantly end up with more then a spoon or two

Hot damn. Number one for sat and Sunday of opener on Nelson shipiee rd. We have a empty seat in our blind. I bet things would get interesting if I took offers for a opening weekend hunt. Hmmm :hammer:

Nothing for me again, don't think I have ever drawn anything opening weekend. Congrats to the ones who drew! I will be playing the lotto game on one of the state refuges... Good thing I have Friday before opener off to do some driving. Also will buy a DVD player for all the sitting and waiting I'm going to do in the parking lots. Thinking next year may have to stop spending 2K in big game permits across the west and hunker down and buy a seat in a blind instead!
