Time to switch from bucks to ducks now

Postby WackNstack530 » Wed Oct 09, 2013 1:57 pm

Well its been a few days since I tagged him, but heres my buck. I filled my b zone tag on private land last Friday. The night before my partner shot a small fork by spike on the same property, it barely broke 110# lol he shoulda waited. My buck weighed about 160# I got 82.4# of meat off him. Very happy my family will be fed. His rack is a nice 3x2 w/ decent eye guards. 16 3/8 wide and 13 3/4 tall. I did a euro mount with his head. Now I get to stress on ducks! Week and a half till opener!

Ya my buck had swollen and stinky glands. Definitely in pre rut. He wasnt too far from the does either. And you could see some polished bone on his head gear where he had been bumping bones with another buck. Probably the big fork that was with him. My partner and I could have doubled on these bucks of he didnt fill his tag on a little buck the night before.

Nice. Hey any legal buck is a good buck, you cant eat the antlers anyways :lol3: . I would have taken the fork by spike my buddy shot if he was on my side of the orchard, just so happened that he wasn't, and the deer gods gave me the bigger buck the day after.

What is the advantage of putting in as a party?

What is the advantage of putting in as a party?

If one person in the party gets drawn the whole party gets drawn, so it raises the odds of getting drawn for a premium tag.
