Another overlooked issue of the shutdown

Postby spoontang573 » Thu Oct 10, 2013 3:07 pm

If you didn't get your Fed duck stamp yet...time to get it. Went by all local post offices with no luck. I was told no more are being distributed until the shutdown is lifted. Walmart was out too. I got the LAST one at Big 5 in Fairfield.

I guess I finally see an upside to this new license system the state uses. At least I can get area passes and the more expensive "CA duck validation" at any store, anytime.

Good luck to the lucky ones with a spot on the opener.

Good advice about CWA Duck Fan.

I checked the Amplex corporation website (they distribute federal stamps). They don't mention any shutdown and are still offering stamps for sale online.
