Advice for college student coming home

Postby californiacajun760 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 6:54 pm

I go to school in Louisiana but come home to San diego county for Christmas. I know the rules are different back home compared to out here so what should I know to be "legal" to hunt back home. Licensing, public land, getting blind access etc. Thanks!

I'm sure it would be the same as Louisiana. Have your Hunting Liscense along with your State and federal stamps and harvest report and your golden
I hunt cause I love going deep into the bush and I always shoot twice!

Ok great thanks! Do you know if the public land policies are the same? Like first come first serve, build your own blinds, or do all the public lands require reservations?

Start reading. This link has the waterfowl regs and wildlife area regs on it. You might get better answers with more focused questions.

Stay where you are, hunt ducks, go fishing, tell your parents you can't travel because of the load of your studies. While you're at it, describe the extreme hardship and pressure you are under to achieve a degree in the rigorous Lousiana college curriculum.

Don't drip any duk blood on your communique to your parents, that would blow the whole thing.

If you are a duck hunter, never go to San Diego again.

Trust me I'm pre-med.
