Antique Duck Picture

Postby DURene » Fri Oct 25, 2013 12:33 pm

Hi I am Rene, Chairman of the Hell's Canyon Ducks Unlimited. We had this picture donated to us. I know there is a lot of history to this picture. My husband and many of our friends can remember seeing this picture as a youth. If you know anything about the history of this picture could you please respond. Thank you very much and hope you have the best duck season ever.

It might be a Harry Adamson picture in which case there is a chance it is worth a bunch of money. I cannot see the bottom of the print where signatures and numbering would be located. There are a ton of variables that go into determining value. You should certainly have a galary look at it.

Thanks Quack. We cannot find a signature on the picture. It is rather large at 4ft by 5ft. I think it might be a picture that someone reproduced. My husband says there use to be a lot that size in restaurants and bars. Mostly in the Sacramento Valley.

Is it a painting or a print?
