11/9 is up

Another gray lodge!!! Which is good... Maybe I can look for the empty strap I left there yesterday.
Trust me. 8 hours in a pond with leaky waders, to not fire a single shot... Is still better than work.

It should be decent this year for the rosters. Last gear for the open there was 2ft of snow.

I drew opener last year and the 2 ft of snow killed it. Had a buddy that had a dog I've seen do amazing work and he was dumbfounded.
6"-1' would be ok.
We ended up the day with 1 quail. I did however plaster a covey on 395 near Milford... But they don't taste as good after picking then from my radiator

At honey lake. Yeah snow killed it. Shot at 1 cubby of quail. Then leaving the refuge there were about 200 running across the rd.

First time LDC, high number though so unless there is 10-15 no shows it's free roam. Lot of homework to do next couple of weeks.

It's opening day of pheasant season,
You do NOT want a blind.Hunt ducks for 90 minutes and go kill a couple chickens...

Thanks for the heads up, I never thought about chasing those chickens, but sounds like fun! Now I don't feel bad about getting high ressi number,
