Looking to buy a 20 ga so I can hunt my buddy's blind which is limited to a 20 ga. Not trying to spend to much for one, can anyone help with that? My limit is 250$

I don't know if you can spend a little more. I bought a nice cz auto loader for 400 new. It's a great gun.

At $250 you can buy a Remington 870 pump or Mossberg if you find a good deal. Certainly second hand you can find in that price range.
If you are looking for an Automatic I would say at least plan on spending around $500 or more for a decent one. Sometimes the Weatherby auto's or other Turkish made auto's can fall a little less than $500.

Will it be used by a kid? An ounce can still pop recoil if it's in a fast enough shell - and recoil can be exacerbated further by a lighter gun.
All this for a bowl of borscht.
