As for the decoys some ****** makes them but he won't make me the half dozen fully flocked eclipse spoonys I requested. :lol:

Took me a couple seconds wondering why those decoys were in the grass and not water then it hit me. :lol3: awesome photos and great hunt. Good to see dead ducks.

Flocked heads on those dekes really make 'em stand out.
Mallards, Gadwalls, Sprig, Widgeon, maybe a Scaup, and some teal in the mix.
Can't beat a day like you have pictured.

Looks like Shasta Valley. One of the few refuges in the state to shoot over a 4.0 last week!!!! :grooving:

Not Shasta Valley...private ranch. Not sure what SV has been shooting, but they don't doctor numbers.

Guess my bad joke didn't translate across the ol' internet. SV's been shooting well, especially if you like teal. My 11 year old cousin had a great time though and got his bird.

I'm a little slow at times.


I have not been out there at all this year. Been killing things other than teal in other places, so I just haven't gone out there.
