Good, after the ressis were called there were about 10 blinds/assigned ponds left last Sunday. A lot of no shows. If you choose an assigned pond with a pit blind consider not hunting the blind. Birds don't like flying over islands when the day before they were blasted at when flying over them.
I guess I'll see you there on the 16th. I got resi number 4! :grooving: Hopefully some weather comes in by then and we get some decent birds or birds at all. Last Sunday the number one bird there was a coot....... Then spoony

Lol I am cool with the spoons anytime, but ever since I went out with my dad and his buddys on a "coot shoot" 35+ years ago( they were sitting around drinkn one Nite and decided to make spaghetti with coots) I just can not bring myself to shoot one, I actually tasted the spaghetti, we ended up ordering pizza! I also had one helluva black lab that was one of the best bird dogs I have ever seen and my kid shot a high fly in coot on the opener a few years back and he wouldn't even pick it up, I kept whistling him back and he wouldn't leave his mark so I went out to see Whats up...........yup a coot and the dog was lookin at the kid like really I'm not pick in this thing up.lol
