Silosock vs silhouette snow geese decoys

Postby bandedbrant » Mon Nov 11, 2013 4:27 pm

Hey guys just wondering what you prefer between silosocks and silhouettes for snow geese? I am Thinking about buying some silhouettes and already have silosocks. What kind of geese decoys do you use for rice? I will be hunting rice fields of various depths and have access to dry fields sometimes. Thanks for the input!

I would not use silos for snows at all, they hover over the dekes too long. More silo socks!

Silhouette decoys are garbage. Me and my buddies have shot hundreds of snows over the past couple years using only sillosocks. If you can't afford several hundred full bodies then windsock decoys are the only way to go.
