Have a top 10 rez for Merced next weekend...

How did it shoot last week? Any specs/greenies?
Weather isn't on our side right now...

Also wondering about the Merced River, anyone been hunting it?

Good hunting fellas...

He is just excited and wants to share. It's going to be a long drive up and an even longer drive back. Enjoy yourself and company. You may not bag as much as you would like but you'll have memories. Enjoy the hunt and remember that a blind that shot a 7 bird average may be the worse blind out there with only seven birds seen in range all morning. It just had a guy (or gal) who knew what to do and how to play it.

(Think I was suppose to use "worst" rather than "worse", but this is not a graded class)

I get it to but if we told him they have not shot a duck all year would he not go.

You won't know if you don't go.

Everyone needs to experience the "donut days" I've eaten my share of nice round ones. Some plain and others with icing and colorful sprinkles.

Ive shot the Merced River a few times this year.. Its always good for a handful of teal and wood ducks with an occasional mallard. Just gotta figure out where they wanna be just like anywhere else. Oh and water fluxuation has been CRAZY this year.. changes a couple feet in a day sometimes. PM me if u have questions man. Congrats on your draw and have fun!!
