Most assigned ponds have at least one dry spot, but, it may not be in the best spot to hunt from.( I hunted out there yesterday )

Ditto. You'll be able to find a spot with cover, but bring some kind of marsh stool/seat. The dry spot may not be the best spot to hunt from in an AP. I too hunted there Wednesday and we hunted from a tule patch away from the one dry island on the pond.

Good luck!
