Good grammar equals good student, ability to learn, and that you care about how you appear to others. More young people need to get 'schooled' by their peers and elders on forums like this. An occasional misspelled word is one thing, but a paragraph filled with them is another.
I thought it was done in a humorous manner...I doubt spoony broke into tears over it.

I should have saved some of the emails my PhD engineering profs sent out. Mis spelling words on a machine don't mean you are inferior or uneducated.
Drop it.

True...but proper grammar and punctuation at least makes you look educated....bad grammar makes you look uneducated.
