I did see one group of Spec's working around area 4, however not much after that. There were around 15 in the group. I was planning on trying Mendota this Wednesday to set up for some Spec's, so if anybody has any ideas, please PM me. I normally hunt the same lot for the past 25 years, but I was thinking of trying for spec's on Wednesday afternoon to end the season.

Parker I wouldn't waste my time with the geese. But there have been about a hundred specks hanging with some honkers and a few thousand ducks across the street at spreckels ranch.

Been a 2-3 bird average all year out there, at best. Managed to scratch 5 out a couple weeks back. Other than that I've been at the average or below.

sorry no pics. I hunted Saturday not Sunday. And it took us all day to do it. We made to most of what few ups we had. that works out to one bird every hour and 15 minutes. pretty damn slow.

I would believe that dtate. I wasn't trying to call you a liar. Maybe its just a little of the mendota doldrums this year. I've hunted mendota everyday this year and have a dismal 2.6 avg. But on a better note I have been able to get a lot of scouting in for next year. Kill all mendotians! Sprigs4days it has actually been between 1 and 1.9 avg. Way worse than any other year since the 70s.

The only time its been over a 2 bird average is when we came back from christmas because they were closed on that wednesday so they had an extra day of rest. And I think maybe one other time in december when we had that one storm. Oh and opening weekend and i think thats it. And as far as geese go there isent much out there. Saw 2 flocks for the afternoon. But then again I wasent in the "goose areaa" so I have no idea.
