A little morning action

Took the week off of work to try to grind it out and make this season a little more successful. I shot these on base here at Beale. Ive been hunting the refuges alot lately and it was nice to actually let the birds work and let them get feet down. I didnt have to worry about some doofus shooting at the swingin birds. Hope you alls season has been at least as good as mine. (not sure why photobucket is cropping out the edge of the pic)

Did you not get the Memo about those tps reports. You are not suppose to shoot mallards anymore. Nice shoot.

Mallards from cattle pond ? Divers from big pond? Had some great shoots there back in the 80's. First place I really saw any numbers of dark geese before the decade long closure.

Got on the x this morning thanks to a friend. Took my uncle out and we should have had two limits but what can you do. 13 birds by 930. The whistle and jerk cord was deadly today. 10 wigeon, 2 spoons and a pintail

Pretty good guess. LOL all were actually shot at the cattle pond. For some reason those buffies have been frequenting it.
