Late season good spread question.

Postby Sgtstadanko707 » Wed Jan 29, 2014 2:56 pm

We have our late goose season coming up here in a few weeks. I have about half our duck spread out still. Would it be worth it to leave them out for late goose or does it not make a difference.

Water has been off for a few weeks. We had about 8in on closer so we shall see. Last year we had water but that was because we got a bit of rain. The dry burnt fields next to us have been holding birds for a bit now.

I guess I could pick the decoys up. Oh wait I can't do that its rainy and windy. Didn't see that coming. :fingerhead:

Pull the duck deeks, we will replace them with more goose deeks.

Is that your blind east of Aguas frias/north of richvale hwy... still have snow deeks around your blind?
There were thousands of ducks north of richvale hwy/east of AF and west of Mccray...
I would find a dry field.
All the grinds I saw today were in dry fields.
