My only criticism would be Sep trying to pull the Audubon society in and putting them in the same bucket as Sutton and the HSUS. The Audubon society may not do things that lead lovers (which I am as well) may like. But they are a long way from operating with an agenda that is as unethical and sneaky. The HSUS is a criminal organization that does nothing but fleece elderly "cat ladies". Sutton must go.

Agreed Rick, but you have to remember, Sutton has been appointed vice president of the Pacific Flyway of the Audubon. He will also serve as executive director of Audubon California. Keeping his track record and his personal agenda in mind it is very possible he might try and change the thoughts and direction of the Audubon (lead ban already)..We have to keep a eye on this guy in everything he does. He should not a fan of any sportsmen in this state..

Actually, that was Slowshooter that wrote that statement....responding to a post by me:

for the guys that missed it they can catch it here..if you want to jump past all the guys giving up the fishing x's and the guides pimping their wares.... go to minute 63.20

They also have some scoop on the game warden shooting...

Both Sep and Bill Carr with western outdoor news blasts him good... this is a must listen.....

Worth your time to listen

The next Commission Business Meeting is:

April 16, 2014. Wednesday
Commission Meeting
Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel
450 E. Harbor Blvd.
Ventura, CA

I wish I could make that date and be at that meeting. It would be a great time to address this issue in front of the commission during the public input section of the meeting. Even though the commission will not respond - since it is not an agenized issue, it would be nice to address this subject live...right there at the meeting. Might get picked up by some news organizations too?

No apology ever received. I for one am still 'beefed' that he thinks I misunderstood his words.

I wonder if Bill Karr, Sep, or any Hunt/Fish Organizations will attend and bring it up? Give him the opportiunity to publically 'clarify' his 'statement'

I think a small demonstration, or protest, (civil of course) would hopefully get more attention that the few people inside asking questions at the meeting. Maybe some news people would pick up on it.?? And maybe spread the word with more air time coverage?

Rick, as much as I, like you want to be there, work, distance and travel time will not allow. I'm hoping the guys that do show up carry our message loud and clear...

Thanks to all that are standing up and voicing our concerns...
