New to Hunting

Postby OutdoorFun » Fri Nov 23, 2007 12:34 pm

I am new to hunting. I live in San Diego, and I am hoping an experienced person/group that lives nearby would be willing to allow a newbie to tag along. I am hoping this may result in a long-term hunting partnership.

Hey there, Oscar! welcome to the forum, anything I can do to help out a military man, be glad to help. Also, GETTER DONE over there 9To my left) is a marine, stationed in Coleville, he'll help too. Cause, if he don't I'll make sure he gets shipped back to the sand!

Right now, you'll need some good waders, camo jacket, maybe some decoy's, but hold off on them for now, and a shotgun that shoots 2 3/4"- 3" mags, steel shotshells, ( or equivalent) and a good attitude.

P.M. me if you need any other questions answered, I'm not a pro by any means, but know my way around some duck holes.

There are bears in the mountains in San Bernadino county, not too far from Pendelton... and anywhere in the Sierra... not more than a few hours away.

If you have any more run-ins with them, you'll have a new list of kills in your signature.
