Banded Mallard

I shot a banded greenhead on the 9th of December and it was banded in a town called center by Alamosa. I was wondering if they band many ducks there. I shot the duck in Northern Utah. The duck was banded in 8/09. Always an awesome trophy, especially here in Utah. Not very many banded ducks around. A big thanks to the banding project and the people that put in their time and effort. The goose was locally banded in 09 as well.
honey...I'm going to be late!

I know they have pretty good breeding grounds in the San Luis Valley. I'm sure he was part of their program. Congrats on the band. Definately don't see to many around here. :clapping:

I have never killed a banded bird in my 10 years of shooting waterfowl in Colorado. Sure would like to change that!

Congrats on the pair!
