Most all of the smaller farm and stock ponds and lakes are solid around here ,we went out for ducks yesterday on the river cold, snowing, blowing wind, river is running free of ice this morning.
It was 8 degrees this morning.
Try and get back out again on Sunday.

Thanks gooser!
Anyone know if the bigger reservoirs are freezing up at all?! Just figuring on it to concentrate birds to the river more. Looking at last years notes (my first year in CO) that's when hunting got fun!

All of the small lakes I saw this morning were froze solid. The fog hung around all morning so there were no geese in our area but we saw a ton once we got out of the fog

Just got back from a trip down south to Denver.
All of the large bodies of water around I-25 corridor are solid.River still free of ice though, but a few more nights and days of near single digits and it wont for long.

All the decent sized lakes around FoCo are frozen. Some small ones still open
