We ended up with 18 again today but we decided to take only drake's and I was able to take my first Bufflehead and it's a beautiful drake.

Pueblo res for sure haha.... Talked to a friend that is a dow officer out there. They have had multiple reports of hunters out there runnin and gunning. Shooting birds while the boat was still in motion..etc unfortunetly it is a big lake and it is impossible to patrol the whole thing but they are aware of it happening. Congrats on the good hunts. I used to hunt that lake all the time before I moved to New Mexico.

I didn't give anything away it's kind of obvious where I hunted. It ain't my 'honey hole" and I ain't sinking no ship's. :hammer: I didn't see anyone running and gunning but I didn't look and it wasn't me. Anyone can go there I don't care just good luck finding my spot too many other hunter's are already down there and don't get any shooting beside the one's that can't stand getting skunked and have to chase the bird's down. I've been there 2 trips and we have 36 (puddle ducks and diving ducks). Good luck to whoever want's to head down and give it a try.

Honestly its good to see that attitute towards hunting. hunters are like a community. I have "honey holes" that I bring people to but dont necesarily tell everyone about but I will also help anyone out that I can. I have teamed up with plenty of people that I dont even know.

Also thanks to everyone on here that has shared advice with me. Greatly appreciated.

I'm not saying people shouldnt help each other out but I try not to post locations on the internet. Look how many views are on this thread already... I was just pointing out that if you want everyone and their cousin to be hunting in your spot go ahead and post up. I keep locations to PM and dont post pics at the boat ramp. It's the thousands of people that google "colorado duck hunting" or something and this is the first thing to pop up.

Looks like ya'll had fun and that's all that matters.

You must have thought otherwise because you edited your post and deleted the pics... looks how many views are on this thread already and its only been a couple weeks.
