Hunting closer to Denver

So i been hunting out at Cottonwood SWA and its a damn good drive, do yall know of anywhere on the S. Platte that isn't over 100 miles away and that i dont need a reservation for and i can hunt 7 days a week, im in the military and work weekends. Anything would help, thanks.

Good Public river is hard to find. The best that I know of is Tamarack Ranch Ranch, but that is a drive. Closer to town is Brower, no reservation needed but gets crowded fast. Mitani-Tokuyasu, but only has 4 parking spots, and you better get there super early if you want one.

If you are not in the parking lot at any of them spots any later than 2:00 am you best find another spot.

Brower and Mitani can be straight insane on weekdays. Some of my best hunts have been on those props, but only if that loser blaze orange skybuster isnt near. I hear he often wanders there a lot nowadays.

I hunted Brower this morning and only saw maybe 20 ducks and 200 geese :no: We need ice on the river
