Ponds frozen?

Postby HereDuckyDuckyDucky » Mon Jan 16, 2012 1:41 pm

I was just curious if anyone has seen any of the ponds thaw out due to this warm weather?
I pheasant hunted south of brush yesterday and it was near 60 deg. I want to get my pup out on ducks again before the end of the season but battling for the few river spots seems like a lot of work.

I hunted in Brush this morning and it was terrible. The Platte is the only open water and there are VERY few ducks. Lots of Snows and Canada's though. Make sure you and your pup are ready for the river because it is high and flowing fast
