Pond depth?

Postby TNhunter611 » Sat Mar 17, 2012 5:52 pm

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how deeps any of the ponds in Banner Lakes SWA, Andrick Ponds SWA, or Brush Prarie Ponds SWA are? Are Waders enough or do i need a dog? Any help?

For the most part you can get away with just waders at brush, The lakes at Banner are deep so you'll need a dog for that on most of the lakes

So heres a Question then. I have hunted brush prarie ponds and we had a dog but there was no way to get to most of the ducks we killed with just waders. So the question is Could you use a float tube there and stash it in the weeds until it became time to get a duck in case you didn't have a dog. The DOW regs don't say anything about whether or not you can use watercraft.
