Looking for a mentor in the Pueblo area

Postby smarcus3 » Sat Aug 11, 2012 10:18 pm

I just moved to Pueblo, CO from Pittsburgh, PA after finishing college to start an engineering job. I am completely new to hunting and looking to get into small game / waterfowl. I have done target / clay pigeon shooting my entire life, but as my dad never hunted, I never did. If someone wants to mentor a newbie just post a message and I will be eternity grateful.

Thanks in advance.

I've been doing lots of research and it sounds like a lot of fun, but as people said online it can be tough to get into. I hope someone opens up. I have no problem buying whatever necessary equipment is required for the area. I already have a 870 12 ga. super mag camo. I'm a hard worker, never complain about being cold / tired and have no problem being the pack mule to help out a hunter and learn the ropes.
