Waterfowl Near 4 Corners Area

Postby fish dog » Wed Sep 11, 2013 10:16 pm

I have relatives in Cortez and was wondering about opportunities for waterfowling in the 4 Corners area in case we ever go visiting during the season. Looking at the vicinity it appears there is a wildlife area at Totten Reservoir although doing a search I haven't found any reports on hunting there. Anybody know anything about hunting at Totten or anywhere else in the immediate area? Thanks!

you also may want to check the Sambrito wetland over on Navajo Lake....it's a little early in the season, but can hold a lot of birds. Don't cross the fence though, or you'll be in NM...
Sorry folks, park's closed...
