I have not. The big reason is that everybody else does! Reports that I have seen are lots of people and most of them skybusters.

Head north east. The farther you go the less crowds you will see. Pick up a state atlas a Walmart. In that is a guide to public property and what can be hunted there. It's a good place to start. Good luck!

I used to, as I grew up there. Land was easy to get on from loveland to greeley and all the way west. New homes and other buildings have put a big dent into getting on prime land. There are many leases now, and they continue to grow. Jackson and Windsor used to have pretty bad "fireing squads" and you could hear them when the birds got up off the water. Big Thompson ponds were not bad, but it was pass shooting. I am not sure if you can hunt Boyd lake anymore, or Wellington area. There was a little SRA out by Fort Lupton and it held a few birds, but I can't remember the name. Maybe try Lone Tree res. if they still let you hunt there.
