I met Todd today at a ramp . I was just getting done pheasant hunting. I told him I was planning to get my kayak out and I'd try to push some birds his way. Well I did my part and pushed a bunch of birds back out to the river. I kept a couple floating in the swamp for dinner.

His homemade custom aluminum duck boat was very nice, so nice it could be an income producing stream for him.

If you ever dreamed of a custom boat I'd try to twist his arm.

Nice words about the boat. I have taken it out a few times and I am very pleased with how it is performing and how the blind works.

Tom did move some birds our way and we had a chance at a fly by in range. Hate to say it but I shot about 2 feet behind them. :lol3: We did see a lot flying but that part of the river is not a drop in kind of spot. Most of the ducks were headed to private ponds elsewhere.

I did learn teal are small and fast!
