Rule #5. New England Clam chowder is white. Rhode Island clam chowder is clear. Both are great. Manhattan clam chowder is red. Not so great.
Rule #6. If you find a honey hole, (fishing, hunting or otherwise) keep it to yourself. No spot in Connecticut is used by just one person, so if you tell the world, you've screwed yourself and the guy that comes in tomorrow.
Rule #7. Bluefish are edible, but smaller ones are better tasting.
(You probably know this)
Rule #8. Lipping Bluefish is not recommended.
(You probably know this, too)
Rule #9. Grinders are what other people call hoagies, subs, foot-longs, etc.
Rule #10. People get VERY ornery when you take your time launching your boat.
HUnting licenses in CT can be confusing and there's at least on example I know of where you can actually pay more money than you need to for a combination....just take your time & mind your math.
