I went out opening day to a local pond. easy to get to after work. Not one goose seen. I went out yesterday, 10-06-07 and shot two. One had a leg band, my first. I saw a lot of ducks and if they are flying that low next week they are dead.

Good job woodsman. I am dying to get out. Just got a new Browning Gold and can't wait to use it. This will be my first full season out. I can't wait.

Nice boat that you have listed. Would love to buy. Looking to see what I can do.

All my fields are still standing with corn. Most of my friends haven't fired a shot. Last year my group had 30 birds in the early season-0 this year. Seeing plenty of geese and ducks so the opener should be good.
