Hi, I moved to the danbury area last winter, and am jonesing to go out and look for birds. Anyone else in the area?? anyone willing to share a little info?? I have done the basic research on hunting areas via internet (no cyberscouting if you worry about that) and wondered if there was anyone else around.

First :welcome:

Second I live about 25 min from Danbury. There is some hunting areas north of you. I do not know alot of spots on our side of the state I mostly hunt the CT River in the Midletown area. PM we can chat about some of the areas that I know of.
If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it must be dinner.

Capt.

Are looking for some walk in spots, small ponds, big lakes, are you set up to go down to the salt. There is a large lake right in your area that tends to hold some birds but is hunted pretty hard.
