Hunted northern CT yesterday, and worked a large group of non resident mallards. Still call friendly, a group of hooded merganzers, one black and I think our wood ducks are starting to move out.
we still have quite a few woodies here in Southern Maine so you may still have some shooting this week......had my pr within minutes this morning.....saw many and heard alot more (very late light and rain)......didn't see any teal though.....and the mallards are still 'thin'.........will hunt in NH Sunday and see what's happening there....looks like it'll be foggy
The local river had woodies all last year as they never left the open water.
