another early season is over

All the preparation..all the scouting,oh heck, all the fun.what a season.didn't put all the birds on the ground that my dog wanted to retrieve but thats all part of it .sorry to see the early season go.when i was younger all i wanted was the almighty mallard,but i as i've gotten older i've gotten to breathe in all that is waterfowl and have rekindled the fire for the early season and along with that the love for woodies and teal.can't wait till next years opener for early season.Jeff.

woodies and teal are the best tablefare by far....no wonder you have their favor :wink:

I agree,but i enjoy a nice fat mallard or black duck as a roaster once in awhile.As well we also make a bunch of chili and also gumbo.unlike some i know, i and my wife love to eat waterfowl.
