Northern Birds

I'm looking forward to the migratory birds coming in. I think there has been a shift in the seasons. I don't want to be political because I'm only interested in natural science and scientists will tell you that seasons shift and climates change. Sure seems like we've had some mild fall weather the past few years. I can't help but wonder if the late goose season which is meant for resident geese will actually find many migratory birds still kicking around. If they start flying later they will probably return later unless it is warm and they head back on time. That would mean the migratory bird run is shorter.

I don't really like hunting when it is this warm. The waders and all the cammo just way you down and it gets hot. I'm looking forward to some nice 30 degree days and better yet some 20 degree days where all the ducks are in one patch of non frozen water. A honeyholecycle.
