Saw a bunch of birds in one of the local marshes.
If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it must be dinner.

was out seaducking this morning and the sport was hangin' over the side tossing breakfast so was in early.....it was pretty rough when anchored and I was in a lee of sorts.....could not head outside due to 8 foot swells..........anyhow, I spent the rest of the morning burning gas and found ALOT of birds which I believe are new in this area.....our 2nd season starts Monday for puddlers/geese....a crappy tide though (low at 6) so might do some puddlers inland.....you should have birds winging very soon....we are getting skim ice at night now

I saw a hundred geese over the Ct River in all places, Hartford, on my way home Friday. I'm heading out Blackfishing tomorrow and want to scout for sea ducks while there. I'm sure the migratory birds are on their way.

I have been scouting hard the past week. Not many ducks around.
Hit three major marshes and swamps and saw very few ducks. Going for woodies on the opener for a quick hunt and to work I go.
on duck call
