WOW!!This has got to be the best beginning of the second half I've seen in awhile.I've never taken or been witness to this many species this early in the late season. GWT,BWT,ruddies, hooded mergs, wigeon, woodies, blacks, mallards, and ringnecks. all since wednesday.holy cow.I guess the saying right place right time?We didn't take limits any of the last four days but what variety, and action.Decoying birds, willingness to work to the call.the teal were so darned fast..can't wait to get out again.Marshmaster and I scouted one hole around noon time.Dozens I tell you dozens of mallards and blacks hiding in one of my secret spots.Of course everytime I talk a secret up.I end up jinxing it.Jeff..WOW!!

Sounds like you had a good day - we got the big ol skunk !!

We saw TONS of ducks - but none that we felt we could pull the trigger on.

One flock of over 20 came straight at us - but nature had called 30 seconds before the came into sight so they busted us and flared at the last second.

Its time to head to the salt and some seaduckin for me !!!

Nice to hear that the ducks are down now in force. Now that deer is over for me I can get back to real hunting
Thousands on the boat.
Hundreds on decoys.
Time away from the wife....priceless
