Boat Hunting

Did DNREC change the required distance you need to have your boat "off shore" to hunt from it or is it still 300 yds off the beach south of the Canal. Heard it got changed to the low tide line but can't find anything on it.

to my knowledge it has always been 600 yards or a half mile offshore to hunt from a boat as most of the bayfront is privately owned. with that being said the distance you have to worry about mostly around here is the distance from an established blind. if you give me a ballpark of what you are looking to do I can answer your question a lot bette.r
