when will the first snow goose show up..2012

I remember this being ask about last year. I saw ONE mixed in with a huge flock of Canadas 2 weeks ago in a field around the corner. And no it wasent an albino.

Aww im sure theres plenty of em arround in other places, just not near me. That was the first one ive seen all year, and thought it was cool to see it knotted up with a bunch of canadas.

back in the day opening day of snow goose on the hook was a blast.

they are in the usual places already. not in huge numbers but there is a few there. been 2 snows with a flock of resident birds hanging out at halperns on route 8 for 2 years now. they move around from loafing pond to loafing pond but always end up back there, sometimes they hit the pond behind target.
