Postby Daffy Ducking » Thu Nov 15, 2007 1:15 pm

O.K. This break in between seasons is killing me!!! I really did'nt get a chance with the earlier season due to work and I am anxious to get out on the 19th. Canadians will also be in for this part of the season.

Good Luck To All!!

Missed the DE first split, but we had a good opener in MD today with geese.

I hunted Maryland on Thursday and did so-so! Out of 4 guys we got 4 geese and soaked! Tried today and only got 1. :headbang: The winds were really bad and there were no geese on the water. They were else where and from the sounds of of your reply they were all in your spread!!!!!! Glad someone did well. Congrats! A bad day in the pit is definitely better than being at work my friend!!

Thanks DD, . . . geese are pretty easy here. I just wish we had the ducks we've had in the past! . . . oh, and the rain for the ponds!!!

opening day

Postby turtles3sons » Mon Nov 19, 2007 11:23 pm

After running around all nite sunday getting things switched over from deer hunting to duck hunting I realize I don't have any more day permits. Gave last one of 10 to my uncle to hunt deer at woodland for refuge stand. Go to walmart to get more permits and they tell me they have no more. WHAT!!!! Luckly I get ahold of a friend of mine who is going out monday morning hook up with him and another hunter get drawn 2 at woodland and shoot 11 ducks. We had a blast and should of limited today best day in years. All of the geese were flying high and no luck on them.
