new to duck hunting

Postby moparhunter » Sat Sep 13, 2008 4:12 am

hey guys after living in North wilmington,Delaware for 14 years I'm finally getting around to waterfowl hunting in our great state. I've been a bowhunting attic for 20 years and always hunted deer over the border in PA. last season I took my 1 st duck with a best freind up in the poconos in 1 of his honey holes up there. I was Hooked!!!!!!
I've scince met a guy through my wife's pta commities who is a experienced waterfowler here in Wilmington..I hope to learn the ropes.
My other reasons are I have 3 small boys and I think waterfowl hunting with guns will hold their interest more than bowhunting and sitting silent in a tree.I also have 2 1 1/2 year old chocolate labs that I would like to throw into the mix at some point.
I look forward to chatting here and learning the ropes.
We intend to hit the public lands and pursue a few private lands.
