I went the past two nights up here in Georgia. We got 8 two nights ago. A friend lives on a small pond in town and we heard the frogs sounding off so off to walmart and bought a blow up boat and rigged a gig out of broom sticks and a steak fork (a gig with barbs works MUCH better). Be sure to have a VERY bright light. About midnight-2AM has been when we were getting them. Just paddle very quietly around the edges of a lake/pond and look for orange eyes/white chin..often you'll see the big white underside of their chin shining back. Get one person to keep the very bright light in his eyes (that's very important so it blinds him) and paddle up VERY quietly and hold the gig out...ease the gig right on up to within a couple of inches and jab at the last second hard. Be sure to have something to put them in cause even when you think they are dead they will jump out the boat..those suckers are tough. Skin them and fry them up for breakfast mmmmmmmm. Let us know how it goes.

Well I finally made time to go last night.
Got to go to my bud's house to dress them out.
We filled 2 small croaker sacks (Burlap) in about 2 hours, big frogs too! Pics to follow.
